calls for service we receive. Incidents listed in the
blotter represent only a small percentage of the Moonachie
Police Department's daily operations. |

INCIDENT/CHARGE: DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
MARCH 2,
2008, 20:31 HOURS: Vicky Moran, a resident of New
Milford, was arrested by Officer Mulvaney on suspicion of D.W.I.
She was issued motor vehicle summonses and released to a
responsible party. Sgt. Behrens and Officer Ricardo
assisted.
INCIDENT/CHARGGE:
PAROLE VIOLATION W/WARRANT
MARCH 12,
2008, 20:34 HOURS: Gilbert Stringer, a resident of
Moonachie, was arrested by Officer Inserra on an outstanding
warrant for a parole violation. The arrest took place at
Mr. Stringer's home. Sgt. Maguire and Officer Bussanich
assisted. Mr. Stringer was turned over to the Bergen
County Sheriff's Department.
INCIDENT/CHARGE: DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
MARCH 17,
2008, 22:59 HOURS: Steven Owens, a resident of Little
Ferry, was arrested by Officer Meller on suspicion of D.W.I.
The accused was arrested after a motor vehicle crash on Redneck
Avenue. The accused was transported to the hospital. Sgt.
Millar assisted.
INCIDENT/CHARGE: WARRANT ARREST
MARCH 29,
2008, 11:00 HOURS: Jose Acevedo, a resident of
Hoboken, was arrested by Officer Fugnitti on outstanding
warrants from Alpha Borough and Jersey City, New Jersey.
INCIDENT/CHARGE: DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
APRIL 6,
2008, 03:14 HOURS: Marko Balac, a Wood-Ridge resident,
was arrested by Officer Inserra on suspicion of D.W.I. He
was issued several motor vehicle summonses and released to a
resopnsible party. Officer Napolitano assisted.
INCIDENT/CHARGE: AGGRAVATED ASSAULT
APRIL 6,
2008, 19:06 HOURS: Edward Moses, a resident of
Moonachie, was arrested by Officer Migliorino for aggravated
assault. Mr. Moses is accused of hitting another
individual witha a baseball bat. This incident occurred on
Moonachie Road in front of Police Headquarters. The
accused was charged and released. Sgt Seeback and Officer
Fugnitti assisted.
INCIDENT/CHARGE: CONTEMPT OF COURT
APRIL 17,
2008, 16:41 HOURS: Nickolas D'Angelo, a resident of
Moonachie, was arrested at Police Headquarters on a charge of
Contempt. Mr. D'Angelo posted bail and was released.
INCIDENT/CHARGE: CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL IN MOTOR VEHICLE
APRIL 18,
2008, 12:50 HOURS: William Quinones, George Velazquez,
and Jesus Pichardo, were stopped by Chief Maguire who observed
them consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle. Officer
Bussanich issued summonses and all three individuals were
released.
