Watch Guard Body Worn Camera
The Moonachie Police Department utilizes Motorola "WatchGuard" Body Worn Cameras (BWCs) to help maintain public trust and to enhance officer safety.
BWCs will allow the department to produce effective material for training and to produce additional evidence. It is the policy of the Moonachie Police Department (MPD) that body worn cameras shall be worn to provide additional documentation of police-citizen encounters. This will assist personnel in the performance of their duties by providing an accurate and unbiased recorded account of an incident.
