INCIDENT/CHARGE: MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH / D.W.I. ARREST

JUNE 28, 2008 00:00 HOURS:  Belkys C. Valdez of Hackensack, NJ was arrested on suspicion of DWI.  Ms. Valdez was arrested after officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on the Green Street ramp leading to Route 46 East in Teterboro.  The vehicle had hit the guard rail on Green Street and then left the scene.  PO Napolitano and PO Inserra investigated the crash and determined the direction of travel from the scene and color of the vehicle.  PO Napolitano and PO Inserra located the vehicle in a parking lot on Wesley Street in South Hackensack, NJ.  Five summonses was issued to the operator who was arrested, processed and released.
 

INCIDENT/CHARGE: FORGERY / THEFT

JUNE 17, 2008, 07:00 HOURS:  Abdul M. Najjar was arrested by Det. Fugnitti. He was arrested for theft and forgery.  The accused went into a local pharmacy and used a stolen prescription blank, by forging the signature of a doctor.  The accused was also charged with theft and control of a prescription blank.  Najjar was charged NJS 2C:21-1A(2) and NJS 2C:20-2B(J).  He was released on bail.  Assisting were officers Sgt Seeback, PO Ricardo and Chief Maguire.
 

INCIDENT/CHARGE: ASSAULT

JUNE 18, 2008, 00:00 HOURS:  Elfido Quixal-Ixcaco of Moonachie, NJ was arrested for Assault NJS 2C:12-1(a)(1). The assault occurred in Moonachie on the 14th of June.  A warrant was issued for the accused and bail set at $2500.00.  The accused turned himself into the Cliffside Park Police Department on June 15, 2008. Sgt Behrens and PO Meller handled the investigation.

 

INCIDENT/CHARGE: WARRANT ARREST

JULY 16, 2008, 19:10 HOURS:  Tae W. Kim responded to Moonachie Police Headquarters to turn himself in for an outstanding warrant from Moonachie Municipal Court.  Sgt. Behrens processed Mr. Kim who was then released on $300.00 bail.

 

INCIDENT/CHARGE:  WARRANT ARREST

JUNE 3, 2008, 05:10 HOURS:  Almuta Shariff of Teaneck, NJ was arrested on a warrant by Det Fugnitti following a motor vehicle stop.  Four Summonses were issued.

 

INCIDENT/CHARGE:  WARRANT ARREST

JULY 24, 2008, 19:09 HOURS:  Virginia Kiernan of Moonachie, NJ was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Fort Lee Municipal Court.  PO Detrizio processed the accused who posted #305.00 bail and was released.

 

INCIDENT/CHARGE:  FALSE REPORTS TO L.E. / HARASSMENT /  DISORDERLY CONDUCT / OBSTRUCTION OF LAW

JUNE 25, 2008, 00:00 HOURS:  Dominique Gallagher of Ramsey, NJ was arrested after she began placing phone calls to the Moonachie Police Department.  The phone calls were placed over a two hour period, approximately 45 calls in total were logged.  Sgt Dressel, PO Napolitano and PO Inserra began the investigation. They were able to locate the accused at a hotel in Ramsey, NJ.  Det Fugnitti and Det McNeice from the Moonachie Police Department along with officers from the Ramsey Police Department responded to the hotel. The accused was taken to Bergen Regional Medical Center and later transported to the Bergen County Jail.  Bail was set at $25,000.00.  Charges were also being filed in Ramsey.

 

INCIDENT/CHARGE:  ASSAULT / DISORDERLY CONDUCT

JUNE 4, 2008, 00:00 HOURS:  William Viscaino of Little Ferry, NJ was arrested by PO Migliorino.  He was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.  The accused had been involved in a fight at his place of employment.  He was issued summonses to appear in Moonachie Municipal Court.
