insight into the types of investigations we handle, and
calls for service we receive. Incidents listed in the
blotter represent only a small percentage of the Moonachie
Police Department's daily operations. |

INCIDENT/CHARGE: DWI ARREST
AUGUST 11, 2008:
Recardio Williams of Lodi, NJ was arrested by P.O. Inserra for
Driving while Intoxicated. Mr. Recardio was issued three
summonses and released to a family member.
INCIDENT/CHARGE:
WARRANT ARREST
AUGUST 15, 2008:
Abraham Narvaez of Newark, NJ was arrested by P.O. Mulvaney.
Mr. Narvaez was stopped for a motor vehicle violation in
Teterboro, NJ. A license check showed that Narvaez was wanted
out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Broward County Sheriffs
Department confirmed the warrant. Narvaez was processed in
Moonachie and issued two summonses. Mr. Narvaez was then
transported to the Bergen County Jail. Sgt. Schmidt assisted.
INCIDENT/CHARGE: CDS / POSS. OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA ARREST
AUGUST
16, 2008:
Grace Wolf of Massapequa Park, NY, Eric ÒNeal of Copiague, NY,
and Mohsan Chandhry of Bayshore, NY were arrested by P.O.
Detrizio, and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous
substance. Chandhry and ÒNeal were also charged with drug
paraphernalia and open bottle of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
P.O. Pezzillo and P.O. Migliorino assisted. All three
individuals posted bail and were released.
INCIDENT/CHARGE: WARRANT ARREST
AUGUST 21, 2008:
Derick Pillay of Newark, NJ was arrested by P.O.
Pezzillo. There was an active warrant out of East Orange
Municipal Court. Mr. Pillay was released on $500.00 bail.
INCIDENT/CHARGE: WARRANT ARREST
AUGUST 21, 2008:
Carlos Mendoza of North Bergen, NJ was arrested
by Sgt. Behrens. The accused was stopped for vehicle violation.
A check of Mr. Mendoza showed two warrants from the North Bergen
Municipal Court. Three summonses were issued. Mendoza was
released pending a new court date.
INCIDENT/CHARGE: WARRANT ARREST
AUGUST 24, 2008: Mario Zamuria-Cordoba of
Little Ferry, NJ was arrested by P.O. Migliorino. A motor
vehicle stop showed a warrant was issued for Mr. Zamuria-Cordoba
in the amount of $600.00. The warrant was issued by the
Hackensack Municipal Court. He was released on bail.
